Gas Testing Train the Trainer

Course Aim:

In any environment that has a risk of release of gases, it is very important that a worker can asses the dangers of the gas by being able to identify it accordingly. This course shall help to asses how to test gases adequately, identifying the quantitative value of the gases which can cause acute or long term side effects, and how to adequately control the effects of the gas by practically explaining different types of detectors. Throughout the entire course, the trainer will be taught to stress on the importance of each technique to be done correctly, to teach the trainer how to engage with their respective audience or attendees and to stress on practical implication of these techniques, and how to make sure every attendant is keen on how to detect gases properly.

·         How to detect the severity of the gases based on their Permissible Exposure Levels, Short Term Exposure Limits, Flash point, and other exposure limits.

·         How to use the detector to detect these limit values.

·         How can a worker protect themselves from these gases.

·         How to instruct students to teach the above points.

·         Understanding effective and engaging presentation skills.

·         Know how to create a presentation presenting first aid topics and how to effectively gain the attention of your audience.

·         How to maintain control of a session.

·         How to deal with potential difficulties.
